Searching manual of the archaeological archive

If you are interested to search in the archaeological archive, please read the following information guide:

Search for sites – is a query in the list of archive’s archaeological sites

Search for monuments- is a query in the list of archaeological archive’s monuments
 
Search for finds- is a query in the list of archaeological archive’s finds

To obtain the information for each of the upper mentioned archaeological objects, you have to click in the main horizontal menu or on the vertical lateral menu of the website, "search in the archive" .
When the searching frame appears in the screen, on the lateral side of the webpage, there are offered these querying possibilities of choice:
Sites/monuments/finds:

- By type
- By Period
- By district
- By modern name
- By preservation status
- By protected status

After you have chosen the type of query you would like to do, click the relevant, reddish brown bottom, and you will obtain, on the left side of the webpage the queries results.

Attention: The list of the archaeological sites, monuments and finds, appeared after the first search, is clickable, and will give you more detailed information on the specific archaeological object you are interested for.

In the detailed page of the archaeological object you will find information on the district, modern name, dating, preservation status, protected status, excavation, a short description, the bibliography list, the monuments list of the archaeological site as well as the finds list. On the right lateral side of the webpage is the list of thumb nail images, dived into, photos, plans, and sketches. At the moment that you click on the image, a second window will be open giving a clearer view of the image.
